Mostly fur isn't the main reason to take advantage
of animals; we use them mainly for food. Besides this there are
also some pharmaceutical products, soap, films, paint, floor protection
for cars, belt drive rubber, gasket rings and rubber, cooling stuff,
brake fluid, and batteries of animal origin. Also for asphalt, which
we drive on, we use animal fat. These oils also protect fruit from
ripening too soon, they serve as lubricant for reactive engines,
they protect gas installation and make synthetic fibers antistatic.

national or regional laws and directives.
