Animal rights movement is an example of misleading,
which is immoral for its extremity. Charles Griswold, Professor
of Philosophy at Harvard University.
In the time when media is very powerful we can achieve abnormal
effects with pictures and emotional missions. Social, economic,
and political problems don’t seem to be complicated. This way a
lot of people believe that there are simple solutions. This was
found out by a group of activists for animal rights protection,
who don’t do their work in a complex way and are not thinking about
better living conditions for breeding domestic and wild animals.
They ignore problems, people’s needs and they don’t try to make
a harmonized living space for people and animals. Over and over
again they repeat exterminating is a mistake and that animal abuse
must be immediately stopped.
Besides this, animal rights campaigners compete for getting higher
subventions. Because of bigger number and higher income these groups
are also interesting for qualified people. Professional activists
are characterized as a new professional picture which they can start
their career with. Stephen Best, vice-president of International
Wildlife Coalition thoroughly described how animal rights campaigns
were directed towards profit only.
There is something we need to know: these activities don’t have
much in common with animal orders protection.
